Why Studio Moda International ?

Fashion by its true nature is evolution and innovation. As a concept it cannot stand still and is always morphing. Usually designers lead the direction with their constant creation of new art. Occasionally, manufacturers develop some new innovation whether it’s a new wash, new garment construction, new fabric invention, etc… Often our ever-changing lifestyle dictates change as we have seen in technical treatments as in the sports and performance segment of our business. Today’s consumer is more educated and savvy than ever with the constant stream of knowledge available on the Internet. The challenge retailers face is how to stay ahead of these fast changing developments.

Retailers will always use the economy as a roadblock to risking new investments. Open to buy is predicated on business challenges today. We know for a fact that traffic has trended down for years at brick-and-mortar stores while Internet business continues to grow. We now have a retail slump due to sameness. The same stores carry the same brands from the same companies in the same malls from New York to California. The Internet is the new frontier of shopping where a customer can freely shop for the most exclusive items from unknown designers while at the same time remaining one click away from buying anything the can be bought in any of those “same old” stores mentioned before. In fact, much has been written about the more aggressive habits of Gen Y, Gen X, and especially the millennial generation.

This is our premise. We believe in the inherent need for fashion to change. We support and endorse the concept on the inevitability of change. And we are dedicated to bringing it to the new consumer and this ever-changing market directly to consumer, through the Internet, and traditional brick-and-mortar stores.

Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in Studio Moda International!
